Who is Cloud Provider USA?
Cloud Provider USA, LLC, is a public cloud hosting provider. Our infrastructure as a service (IaaS) cloud solution provides organizations with the flexibility to establish and scale server resources instantaneously. In addition, we provide complete transparency and control through our Cloud Portal interface. This takes the mystery out of the cloud, and gives you insight into security, data integrity, availability and more.
Applications and data are housed within Tier IV data centers on best-of-breed hardware from industry-leading manufacturers, such as Hewlett-Packard (HP) Brocade and Cisco. The result is a secure digital fabric that provides a secure multi-tenant environment with top performance with high availability.
Where is your cloud infrastructure located?
Our cloud infrastructure is located within Tier IV data centers in Miami and Las Vegas and a Tier III facility in Amsterdam. These data centers are among the most connected in the world, and some of the only locations where optical, Ethernet, voice and Internet traffic are handed off in one location.
Cloud Provider USA’s Miami data center switches the majority of all traffic from South America, Central America and the Caribbean. At 750,000 square feet, it features 2N+1 power and cooling, along with 24/7 security. Our Las Vegas location includes a 500,000 square foot facility that has been engineered for redundancy and efficiency.
Select where your data will be hosted, and gain transparent insight and control of your cloud infrastructure through our Cloud Portal.
How safe is my data?
Best-of-breed technology, combined with extensive standard operating procedures, and compliance means your most critical business processes and data are backed by Cloud Provider USA’s compliant digital fabric. Our all-digital storage area network (SAN) also provides redundancy, unmatched performance, and availability.
What input/output operations per second (IOPS) can I expect?
Each cloud server is guaranteed to provide an average of 1500 IOPS. The capacity of the Cloud Provider USA platform has allowed some users to burst to 16K+ IOPS on a single cloud server. We also maintain spare components for our infrastructure onsite and have separate SAN capacity for user-level backups and disaster recovery.
What is the processor speed?
Add one, two, four or eight virtual processor cores to your cloud server. Each hardware node within our cloud platform has multiple Intel six-core processors, and our cloud server hosts are balanced relative to the number of virtual CPU cores to guarantee performance. An advantage of using multiple CPU cores is that applications can use multiple threads simultaneously, reducing processing time.
How many IP addresses are provisioned per server?
Every cloud server is provisioned with one initial dedicated public IP address. Extra IP addresses can be purchased for a monthly fee of $2 each. Additional public IP addresses can easily be added through the Cloud Portal administration interface.
Can I resize a cloud server?
Using the Cloud Portal interface, you can enlarge or reduce server resources at any time, allowing you to adjust the amount of CPU cores, memory and disk size on demand. However, to prevent data loss, it is not possible to reduce disk space to less than the amount of data currently stored on your server. Once you specify the new resources required for your system, a simple reboot occurs, and your server is instantly resized.
Which server images do your offer?
Cloud Provider USA provides a variety of Microsoft and Linux images for deployment on our platform. As a Microsoft Hosting Partner we can easily provide licensing for Microsoft Windows, Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint, and most other Microsoft products. Pre-built images allow you to get new systems up and running in no time.
Have you completed an SSAE-16/SAS70 audit?
Data Center facilities and Cloud Provider USA have performed SSAE-16 audits. Documentation can be provided to our customers, prospects and interested parties with a non-disclosure agreement by contacting info@cloudproviderusa.com.
What kind of support can I expect?
Cloud Provider USA cloud servers have all the benefits of stand-alone physical servers, without the costs. You maintain complete control over your servers, including installation and configuration. We offer the following support throughout the duration of your service:
- Recent operating system and software package versions for deployment
- Hardware maintenance and management
- Highly available internet connectivity
- Cloud Portal access allowing you to easily manage your cloud server environment
What are contract terms and cancellation periods?
We provide true, on-demand, elastic compute resources with no contracts that can be changed or cancelled at any time. We do, however, offer contract-based solutions for our Enterprise customers that provide additional benefits and services beyond our standard offerings.
For more information, please contact a member of the Cloud Provider USA team at sales@cloudproviderusa.com.
How does billing work?
Every hour, we inventory the number of cloud servers operating in your account, including the amount of provisioned central processing unit (CPU) cores, memory and disk space. At the end of the month, this data is compiled to determine the total amount due on your account. This gives you the flexibility to scale at any time, and only pay for the services you use.
What payment methods are supported?
We accept payment via MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover. Our Enterprise Plus customers can also establish terms for direct billing or pay via automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.
